Also, as of last week Henry was 6 lbs 7 oz. He gained a whole pound in a week! This week I'm guessing he'll be about 7 lbs. He's quite the little man! Right now his whole world is sleeping, eating, diaper changes and fuzzy sleepers. Not too bad if you ignore the occasional assault by his loving brother and sister.

Fall Clothing
Do any of you remember wearing heavy-weight sweater tights when you were little? For two years now I've looked for these tights so Anna can wear her twirly dresses in the winter without freezing her knees. In lieu of these tights I've put leggings under her dresses, but I'm wondering if these tights are still available.

Yeah we have gotten cotton tights from landsend. Charlotte had a pait that laster her three years from Landsend! I got my money's worth all right.
Yep. Hanna Andersson has great cold-weather tights. They are pricey, but they last.
My local natural-food/hippie store stocks wool tights by a German company whose name escapes me at the moment. The tights comes in child and adult sizes. I don't know what the child sizes run, but the adult ones run about $40. (I remember this because I've been mulling over getting some for myself.) If you're interested, send me an e-mail (so I have the reminder sitting in my inbox) and I'll check the brand name for you when I go to that store later this week.
I think you can get some at Gymboree, too.
I think American Apparel makes them for adults... maybe kids too?
ditto what everyone else said about the tights. Except... I don't like to pay that much. I have gotten them on clearance, used from a cousin, and I have also seen them used on ebay.
